hello everyone I  was wondering if when choosing a PS did you choose a PS that was a "Board Certified " PS?  or did they hold other certifications just not the title of Board Certified Plastic surgeon? thanks

I just read a scary story in this months HEALTH magazine so to me it's a must to be Board Certified in my opinion, this at least means that they has extra schooling and training (years) to obtain this. My surgeon is the top burn surgeon and specializes in cosmetic reconstruction and  and breast.

Maybe just peace of mind but who wouldn't want peace of mind!

Board cert. means they have specialized training in the area their working in.  They have to go through years of training and take their boards(tests) to get this, it is way more then just a title. You certainly wouldn't want your primary care doctor doing a tummy tuck on you would you? It would be just that if they weren't boarded.
