Surgery Tomorrow

My TT is tomorrow and I am nervous.  I had a crazy dream last night about the doctor trying to give me anesthesia in my shoulder and it not working.

I am excitied to see what my new body will look like and slightly disappointed I can't afford to fix my pubic area at this time.  I am extremely grateful that BCBS is paying for my TT and not just a pani!  I will get my other problem fixed at some point in the future but I am just so happy that after tomorrow I will have a visible belly button and not a frown face on my tummy and that my lower apron and the rashes on my belly button will finally go AWAY!!

Nerrvous about the pain and not being able to actively particiapte with my 2 babies (2years and 4 months)  I love them so!

You have my thoughts and prayers headed to you!

I had a horrible dream about a week before my LBL. In the dream, I woke up with the scar all the way around, but I still looked the same! Everyone kept saying how wonderful it looked. I kept thinking it was like the story, The Emperers New Clothing!

I did not fix my pubic area, but after the LBL, it looks a lot better than before. So maybe won't have to.

Good luc****ep in touch!

Good luck tomorrow!  And I second the previous comment, my LBL made a huge difference in the pubic area.  It's not perfect, but I can live with it how it is now, but couldn't have immagined not fixing it before.

 Hi Kristy!
It is sooo normal to be nervous before surgery.  I was!  I even called the patient care specialtist at my plastic surgeons office and talked to her.  I had her read the notes the doctor had written about what he was going to do.  For some reason, this eased my mind.
I worried about my my pubic area, too.  It doesn't look as bad as it did before and think I'm going to be fine with it.  (I had my TT 3 weeks ago).
All my best!

My Extended TT with Lipo is tomorrow and I am scared as well.  I have a terrible fear of being paralyzed and unable to tell them I am still awake while they are operating on me......

I've been running around all day getting everything ready and trying my hardest not to let the fear get the best of me - I DO want to do this, and if the pain is bad it should be manageable with the pain meds and it should get better each day....these are things I keep telling myself.

Anyway, best of luck to you tomorrow.  Please come back and update how you are doing, and I will try to as well.  Hope you surgery and recovery are easy :)

Linda

Congrats on getting your TT paid for, notch up 1 victory for the little gal. Good to know somebody can get some luck with the rest of us selfpayers.

You'll be fine try not to stress too much, my pain was managed very well yours will be too. It's those first 3-5 days that are rough get through that you'll be good.

I wish I would have had money to do arms at same time, but that is another bridge I will cross later.

Good luck & speedy recovery,
Bubba
