I had my inner thigh lift about 10 days ago, and it's back to work time for me. I'm having a little wound separation at the top of my left leg, and it's very wet and leaky. I had similar leakage and separation in my armpit after my arm lift (although this isn't nearly as bad) - but after my arm lift I was able to tuck some gauze in my arm pit , get dressed, and it would control the leaking pretty well.
However, I'm at a loss as to what to do with my thigh. The opening is at the top inside of my groin area, in the leg crease. If it were summer I think a sundress with some gauze tucked in my panties would work, but it's cold here. If I wear pants I'm afraid of 1) wet leakage seeping through and 2) having something bulky show like a big lump in my pants. If I wear a skirt, I'm conerned about tights on the rest of my incisions, and also dont want the tights to create more damp irriation. It's cold here so going bare legged in October isn't an option.
Any ideas on what worked for you?
Thanks

I have the same problem with my thigh lift. My doc has me putting neosporin and gauze on it. Since it's in the inside crease, you can't see the bump. Before I saw my doc, I tried a pad, but never placed it quite right. My husband uses paper tape to tape the gauze in place and I use a 4X4 folded into quarters. It lasts all day and is getting much better now. It's been about 8 or 9 days since the leak started and it's almost healed.
I'm impressed you are going back to work so soon. It's been 2 1/2 weeks for me, though I had a lot more done, but I can still barely walk around my park.
Good luck.

I went back to work with a similar problem except it was with my tummy incision, but too big to just put at pad in my underwear, so....here is my best suggestion.
* try some outfits with leggings
* OR long dresses that you can wear a long garment with. I had my legs done with my tummy; therefore, I woke up with a garment that went from my abdomin (right under my boobs) down to my calf. I still occasionally wear this garment when I am swollen. The garment held my pads over my incisions as they were still a little "leaky" when I went back to work.
BTW, amen for no pants, I was sooo concerned about wearing pants b/c of leakage.

I used light day pads and paper tape to keep them where I wanted them. I used them on the mons area and on my inner thighs. I did put ointment on before the pads. I had a lot of leakage from my 3 mons drains and gauze would just leak and drip. The pads worked much better.

Joanne, have you already gone back to work? Do you have a desk job? How was it and how's your energy. I'm having a lot more done than you and planning to try to work some from home during week 3 with part time in the office during week 4. I have a desk job and a private office where I can close the door.
Pads and tunic tops to cover the area. I think leggings are a great idea because it will hold everything in.
I'm gathering suggestions for when I'm where you are today!
Feel good and take care wtih working.

Adhesive backed sanitary pads. More absorbent, and you can get enough to stick to just the edges of your underwear to absorb, but also keep the edge from bothering your incision.
I needed the pads to soak up incision goo further down the thigh lift too, and used mens boxer briefs, and even stuck pads to the inner thigh in those. They are longer like boxers, but tight and stretchy like briefs. They also have the fly hole, which can be handy if you are still dealing with drains coming out of the front.
