Tummy Tuck Stomach Spasms

I had an extended Tummy Tuck in March 2009.  The past year I have experienced random muscle spasms on one side - feels like a charlie horse in mystomach. And they can really catch you off guard.

Recently I injured my back and daily I have experienced them almost 10 times - and I do not know what to do to stop it.

Has anyone experienced them? Got any advice?

I had them the first couple months out, but haven't had any since then. My doctor said he could prescribe muscle relaxers if they were hurting me. Have you talked to your surgeon? I hope you find relief soon!!

What Laura said...they usually go away but medication may be needed to break the spasms !  Sometimes patients will also get them in their back from being in one position too long.
