Back from Pladstic Surgery in Havana
Just back from Clinic Garcia in Havana and cannot say enough GREAT things about my experience!!!!!
Well known in Quebec the clinic was full with people from Quebec and around ther World.
I paid $2500 for a tummy tuck which encluded 17 days in the hospital with 3 great meals per day and daily visits form the Surgeons.
Their prices are phenominal!!!!! facilities are great staff just AMAZING.
My talks with Canadian Doctors beforehand reasured me that Cuban Doctors were the BEST TRAINED IN THE WORLD.
I saw the results for 3 facelifts, 2 breast inplants, 1 thigh lift an 3 tummy tucks for myself while I was ther and I am impressed, all these people were too..
There was hardly any pain at all I can't wait to go back
The staff treat you like Family and can't do enough for you.
GO GO Go contact me for pics.
The area is so safe so wonderful why go anywhere else?
There dental clinic is world renowned and people were there for all kinds of sugery.
Hi, congratulations on your tummy tuck and a continued speedy recovery.
Excellent price you paid, a lot less than any quotes here in Canada, and a lot less than what I just paid 2 weeks ago. Amazing.
I too would be interested to know about the price of your travel to and from Cuba.
Also, how did the whole pre-surgery visits go...did you have to go there before surgery for a consultation, then return home, then go back for surgery? Or was it handled in a different way.
I am very impressed with the 17 day stay for care...that is amazing. I am contemplating getting my arms and upper thighs done next, so would be very interested in finding more info about what that would cost me in Havana. Any info you could pass my way would be much appreciated.
Thanks.
Linda

Seems pretty excellent!
that is wonderful for you.
but being American I would never want to travel to Cuba You never know what Castro would do, he could decide not to let us come back to USA. the area might be safe but I dont trust the country they couldnt pay me to go,
I think Mexico is a safer bet we can just cross the border back into our own country
good luck with your future surgeries

There are actually travel restrictions on Americans going to Cuba, typically you can only go if you have family there or going for humanitarian reasons, and there are limits on the length of stay and $ you can spend...quite sure giving $$$ to a doc for surgery that is available in US, perhaps not for same price...but still doubt you'd get approval to travel there. I once met a couple from Australia traveling around the world, I was in Central America at the time, the couple had made a side trip, off their official itenerary, to Cuba, their next stop after Cen Amer was the USA and they said if their airline found out they had been to Cuba they would cancel the airline could cancel thier tickets..so even non US citizens have their travel to Cuba restricted if then coming to US...strange.

I live in Miami, I'm sure I know more about US-CUBA relations than you do. It's not "disinformation"...I don't even think that's a word...it's not even MISinformation, it's GOVERNMENT policy.

ENTRY / EXIT REQUIREMENTS, TRAVEL TRANSACTION LIMITATIONS:
The Cuban Assets Control Regulations are enforced by the U.S. Department of the Treasury and affect all U.S. citizens and permanent residents wherever they are located, all people and organizations physically located in the United States, and all branches and subsidiaries of U.S. organizations throughout the world. The regulations require that persons subject to U.S. jurisdiction be licensed in order to engage in any travel-related transactions pursuant to travel to, from, and within Cuba. Transactions related to tourist travel are not licensable. This restriction includes tourist travel to Cuba from or through a third country such as Mexico or Canada. U.S. law enforcement authorities enforce these regulations at U.S. airports and pre-clearance facilities in third countries. Travelers who fail to comply with Department of the Treasury regulations could face civil penalties and criminal prosecution upon return to the United States.
It's in the best interest of any US citizen to educate themselves on travel to another country for any reason, especially medical reasons. It's irresponsible for someone to promote a clinic, then try to suggest people BREAK the law to get there...it's not the "getting there" it's the being allowed BACK into the US that you get busted. So while you might have "met" people in clinic you have no idea if they made it back to the US? Also from Ft. Myers...yeah S. FL, highly likely they were of Cuban decent and could "visit" relatives.
"There's no way of telling"...hmmm that airline ticket which is tracked, as well as your electronic mag passport strip???
