Sunburned feel to breast skin post lift/implants--anyone?

So my newest annoying symptom of the week--skin on my breasts is extremely tender to touch--feels almost sunburned. Actually, they are burning even without touching them.

Do you think this is part of the hypersensitivity issue we can have? Anyone have it and if so, how long did it plague you? Oy!

Thanks!

Denise

Yes, I know exactly what you mean.  I had the same issue, which my PS said had to do wtih stretched skin and regenerating nerves.  I think it lasted for a few weeks, not much longer than that.  I had a LBL, Brachio, and BL/BA all at the same time.  The breasts were kind of a tag along procedure for me, I was mroe worried about the recovery from the other procedures, but honestly the boobs hurt a lot more than I was expecting them to.

Thank goodness it isn't the only case ever!!! Other aspects of my healing are finally improving each day, so I'm hopeful this will resolve sooner than later. I can't imagine adding a brachio to this recovery (also LBL with BL/BA)--you are a trooper! And you look phenomenal!!

Thanks for helping reassure me!

Yes I only really had it on one boob though, my right breast, which is higher and tighter. My skin got really red, sting-y feeling, and HOT! also the skin was dry. Putting some frozen peas on it through my shirt for 5 mins at a time helped. I also rubbed aloe on the skin (but not on any incisions). It has completely resolved for me, I think it had to do with healing and with swelling. My skin is still very dry though and I have to moisturize it regularly.

Hey there! I'm flaky--and my boobs are dry too!! LOL! I have been lotioning, which feels good temporarily. I iced today and that felt awesome!! I had seen an icepack bra online. I sure as hell wish I'd ordered it now!! Saw your update--hilarious, but I can imagine you are wearing tired of all the setbacks. Frustrating as all hell.

We'll get through this--one hot swollen boobie at a time!!! (Had to laugh--auto correct changed boobie to boogie--not sure what's worse!!!)

Take good care!!!

Denise
