surery cancelled and getting iron infusions

I had my first iron infusion yesterday have have 4 more scheduled over the next 10 days. After that they take my blood and determine if my level is normal and ready for surgery. I am hoping for a Nov 2nd surgery date. Very disappointing but I want to be healthy for the surgery. I had so many great responses from others on this board and I really appreciate it even though they were not what I wanted to hear.....such as cancelling the surgery. Thank you.

That sucks! But, feel glad that your surgeon is on top of things and won't let anything happen to you. The surgery will happen, just not wight when you expected it to. Either way, I know it sucks! Sorry.

Hope all is well, great that everything is proactive in direction. My surgery was moved from 11-3 to 12-8; mysterious education seminar that was not noticed when I was booked, (hope that it is in Hawaii). Good luck!!!!
