Hey everyone.....I have been off OH for a lil while but I needed to come back for some much needed support and a weird question.

I had a full abdomnioplasty done March 3 and within 5 days my incision healed beautifully.....my new navel took a lil longer and developed a mild infection but it now looks great too....

HOWEVER!........................at anytime of day or night whether I am doing something or nothing........I start to itch deep within my skin around my incision.........it's like when you have that inner ear itch that you try and relieve by scratching the inside of your cheek with your tongue or rattle your ear with a finger?.....I hope I don't sound nuts

I am wondering if anyone has experienced this at any incision sites after TT, breasts , arms or any cosmetic procedures....is it the nerves healing and waking up after months......I mean I really be trying to scratch or rub the itch away....sometimes benadryl tabs help?   any feedback?  thanks!

Hi, I have not had my surgery yet but seems as though Benedryl will help calm your itch. I am following a couple that are about a week out nd that's what they are using.

Good luck.

Benedryll is wonderful to help with itching.  I had surgery yesterday to reclose my TT and I have done nothing but itch from head to toe al day@  I am living off of bendryll.  I have found that the children's liquid benedryll works quicker for me than the pills.

Yes, I know exactly what you are talking about.  It's an itch on the inside that I can't scratch!

the itching was probably worst at like 6 weeks out.  I'm still kinda itchy at 3 mos out.  Patting the area with my hand is the most helpful, but it still doesn't really help that much.

Oh, no, girlfriend!! I'm only 3 months out and haven't had that problem, but I guess I won't be surprised if it happens down the line. Hope you get some relief soon!!

Thanks Laura, you look gorgeous in your new photos....I have tried topical creams to no relief and it does not happen often, but when it does I just want to go inside my skin and scratch.   I try and just massage the feeling away.

Actually my feet does that too....maybe it is just nerves?
