Surgery update and nassea question
I am almost two weeks post-op for the hernia repair and panni removal with t cut to tighten the abs, and five days post-op from the thighs and lower back lift. Saw my doc yesterday and he said I am ding well, incisions look good... I can do most things for myself now and am trying to walk a little more every day. My appetite is still not good so I make sure to get 3 protein shakes in a day, and eat low salt saltines, whole wheat English muffins and try for one meal with meat per day, even if I don't eat much of it.
My biggest problem lately has been nassea. I take a sponge bath(even if I just do my face and upper body) and I get nauseous. I just got off the couch and had a protein hot cocoa and here I am nausous again. My doc thinks it may be that I'm trying to do too much but I'm not doing much of anything but lying in the couch. I've cut back on the pain meds but am still on the antibiotics. Has this happened to anyone else? How long will it last?
Thanks.
