Sex after LBL

Just wondering...how long after having a LBL did you have sex?  Did the Plastic Surgeon provide any recommendations?  Thanks!

I had a LBL JULY 11, 2011    Dr. suggested 4 weeks.  We were did after 3 weeks. Go slow, of course movement is minimal, . I was sooooo numb so it felt oddddddd! LOL!!! Those damn nerve ending take time to regenerate **referring to LBL incission, but sex was  of course intense!

You will have a better appreciation and awareness for how often you actually use your core area: sweeping, mopping, twisting, bending, reaching, and of course sexXXXXXX

I had a tummy tuck last Monday and asked my nurse today when will I be cleared for sex. She said about 3 or 4 months - I laughed and said no way!!!!! She said, on second thought let me call the doc. She called him and he said 3-4 weeks for me, which I translate into 2 weeks. There are positions where I won't stress myself, which I've "practiced" in advance in preparation for my surgery, lol.

I don't remember what I was told, but I think it was about 6 weeks for me.  I had the circumferential LBL with butt augmentation.  When we did do it, I couldn't lie on my back (due to the butt aug), so we had to do it with me on top, but him doing most of the work.  Doggy style also worked.  Another month or so after that, we could do it with my laying on my back, but I needed a pillow or two under my lower back (again due to the butt aug).  Without the butt aug, I'd have been better a lot sooner. 

I was told 4 weeks.  I felt so tight from the LBL - I am sure that 4 weeks would have still felt strange.  My BF lives out of state so it ended up being longer than that for which I was very glad.  Just bending over the pick up the soap in the shower felt strange.
