realistic about time off
Since you're only doing the tummy and not a full lbl, it might be enough time. I am a great healer, but I definitely needed 7 weeks for my lbl/bl and am so thankful I was able to have that time off. I did not want to do too much and screw up the results. I spent wayyyyyyy too much money to do that.

What do you do Laura? I do medical transcription and my boss said she thought I'd be ready after a week because she'd had a mini abdominoplasty and only missed a day. I told her I would have to play it by ear. Well, I'd have needed to start working again Saturday going by her timeline. I wrote her and told her there was NO way I could be back even next week and I'd have to let her know past that. I could probably do a half hour here and there, but no long sitting. Now, if could figure out how to press my foot pedal while leaning back in my recliner, I might be able to do it now!
I guess the big message here is that it is really individual and there is no way to tell until you are living it. I think considering there are often drains in until 3 weeks, a few weeks off seems reasonable.
Have a good rest of your weekend!!
