I think it all depends on how much the doc removes.  I am 16 weeks post op and I am still swelling.  I swelled for over 6 months last time!  This time the swelilng is just as bad.  It's your body trying to seek collateral circulation.  Wearing my compression garment when I work out or when I do my 12 hour night shifts makes a the swelling less!  It's normal!
Are you wearing some kind of compression?

Yes, it's normal. I had lbl last year, and will be going in Monday (YIKES) for the breast lift, the vertical tummy tuck and medial. With the LBL, I had swelling for a good 6 months. Granted, some days were better than others; and things like salt content in diet, "pushing it" with physical activity, TOM, etc all contribute. I was told that the swelling could even be on and off for about 1 year: that it really takes a good year for healing to occur. (Remind me of this a few months from now )

My surgeon says you can swell for up to a year after a TT... be patient, it's all worth it in the end!
