9 days post op and loving the belly
Got both drains out and had my first shower today...felt so good. Got a little light headed and it wore me out but it was worth it...9 days without a shower..GROSS!
So glad I got this done and all the pain is definately worth it. It feels good to look down and not see that ugly hanging skin. It's weird being able to see your bellybutton for once.
I am surprised that I didnt swell like I have heard alot of people talk about...maybe I'm too early out for that.
Been sleeping on the recliner and it's still hard getting up but it's getting better. Trying to take things slow.
How do you post pics?
Thanks again, just wanted to update

I'm curious, so you can't shower after a TT???? I'm scheduled to have one in October. I know that when I had my open RNY, the nurses had me up the next morning to shower. I am expecting the same thing with this. My doctor's office has even given me a special soap to use for bathing. Just wondering what to expect. (Athough I would be perfectly happy to skp a shower right after surgery - because those drains are not fun holding)
