Brachioplasty with pictures
Hey Wanda,I'm glad you found a good doctor I think they are hard to come by nowadays. I had my sleeve done march of 09 so I think at the time winterstein was only one doing sleeve in omaha at that time. And it was all I could afford I was self pay also, it was 12,500 but I got 3 days 2 nights in hospital. But what I think what makes it a great deal is Dr. Gary anthone assists wintertein with every procedure and visa versa. Anthones specialty is the DS and many people come from out of state to go to him so he's pretty good. About 80% of folks in my support group get the DS bypass but the sleeve numbers are rising quick it's a great surgery. They are only a couple people in my group that got a lap band my dad being one of them and they have had decent results like 40 and 50 pounds weight loss. But probably would have been higher if they would have gotten the sleeve considering it's the same price.
I am actually on the Bariatric Advisory Board over at methodist, I really believe I need those meetings cause the weight can creep back on even when I am looking out for it. They recommended Montag to me, so far so good I just need to get this swelling down do I can tell what I'm going to look like here in the near future. Down 17 lbs. since surgery so I'll take that anyway I can get it.
Have a good weekend,
Bubba

Wanda, I think your arms are the best in show! I love how slim they look. I truly hope that Dr. S is able to work magic like that on my arms in December. My arms look a lot like your before pics. I know we weigh about the same and same height, so I'm really dreaming of similar results.
Keep posting pics as you heal please. :)

wanda - you look great! i had planned on getting brachio at the same time as a boob lift, but after this last weeked, i'm thinking of just getting my arms done so they look better, and save the boob lift for later (i can always get a good bra!) and the cash outlay will be less....
i got a makeover this weekend (by THE stacy london!! woot!) and she dressed me in a sleeveless dress.. i loved the look, but was still not happy with how my arms look... i've been working on 'getting over' the batwings by wearing a lot of shortsleeve / sleeveless shirts this summer, but i really do need to do something soon... i'm not at goal yet (50 lbs to go) but i'm thinking i need to do this sooner rather than later... at least i'll be able to find shirtsleeves that fit better and not feel quite so self-conscious in a tank top.....
your results are amazing, way better than any i have seen on any PS website gallery....

Hi Jeris! Long time no see. I know exactly what you mean about the sleeveless tops. I just couldn't do it. My arms are the only thing that really bother me. I hated to spend the money since I also self paid for VSG, but am so happy with the outcome.
You should probably wait until you get at least 40 more pounds off. You don't want to have it done a second time and 50 pounds will make a big difference in the size of your arms. I was pretty impatient myself. I was going to wait until winter then just decided I couldn't wait and scheduled it.
Lucky you to get the makeover. How did you manage getting that?!
