8 days away! LBL 9/28

I am sitting here deep breathing. I am so ready for this surgery, yet when I really sit and think about it I get all nervous. I had a bad dream the other night. I woke up after surgery and was shocked to see I still looked the same. Except this time I had a scar going all around me.
I also keep thinking I am going to get a phonecall or email saying the surgery is cancelled or postponed again. I guess I really won't believe it until I wake up and see for myself.

I keep focusing on the positive aspects...

No more moving skin around so you can sit without pinching yourself.
No more bouncing up and down to get the skin folds into the pants.
No more looking in the mirror and seeing the "fat shaped" you.
No more worrying about making the pants fit in the hips and then having a huge gap at the waist.

and the best for last....

no more GRANNY PANTIES!!!!!!!!!!!

My 3 year Sleeve anniversary was Sept 16th. I would do it all over again. I finally feel alive and healthy for the first time in my adult life. Now it is time to enter the final chapters of plastic surgery. I have a brand new life ahead!

I am so excited for you, just keep positive and soon this will all be behind you!  I was gonna ask you how close together they are willing to do your surgeries and if there was a special reason to wait on your thigh lift?  Let me know how things go and try not to worry

We never discussed the timeline between surgeries. Dr told me that due to the LBL being 5 hours, they didn't want me under longer than that. He also told me that I would get a better result with less chance of a redo.
I originally was upset that I wasn't going to get everything done at once like Dr S could do. I was concerned that multiple surgeries would cost me more as well. But with all the surgeries added together, it is about $1000 less than Dr S's quote.
Personnally, I would like to have everything done within a year. Will have to see what the finances bring. Told hubby to go stand on the street corner and shake his booty. He said I should shake my new booty. Ha! I told him this booty will only shake for him! I'll get my surgeries in no time!

You crack me up, you and your hubby sound alot like me and mine lol.  I was just asking because I only have a certain amount of short term disability coverage per year and was hoping to just be off for one period of time otherwise my surgeries may endup years apart :(  I also don't want to do that to my coworkers, just keep taking off but we'll see.

With your LBL are they going to do autoaugmentation on your but for you?  I really need that, I went from a ghetto booty to a panvake butt

My husband and I have been married for 8 years now. Some of our vows were to laugh together every day and stay in the honeymoon stage forever. This was my second marriage, his first. He's had to clean up a lot of mess. God, I love him! He keeps telling me I am perfect just the way I am, but I am very self concious about my body, ex keeps messing with my head. So this is for me!

I have always had a J-lo butt and large thighs, so to speak. I am looking forward to NOT having that "asset" anymore. When it comes time to get the boobs done, he wants BIG, I told him no bigger than they already are, just in the right spot.

I had my TT on 9/1/11 and it took me about a week before I realized my fat gut was gone.  haha.  I was like in total shock.  I saw myself naked the day after the surgery and every day after that, but it was that long before I realized it was gone.  :D
