So now that the pain from my TT and Medial Thigh Lift has apparently been erased from my brain....I am seriously considering Breast Implants. I've never been blessed in this department even before the weight loss and I'm sick of not even being an ''A-B' cup. However, I wondered about recovery time. I would have to do it over the holidays. What should I expect for recovery, compression, pain/discomfort (although I know this is an individual thing), etc. etc. I also wondered if anyone had any issues with mammograms, etc.
Thanks in advance for your assistance!

There are a few factors that affect the recovery. If you get implants under the muscle (which, if you don't have much breast tissue to start with, you'd probably want, since it looks more natural that way) the recovery will be more painful than over the muscle. But it's not that much worse. Also depends on if you're doing just implants, or doing implants with a lift. I had implants with a lift. If you've got a desk job you could probably go back after a week. I'm 10 days post-op and though I'm still tired, I could easily attend classes or do a desk job. Can't lift more than 5 pounds still but I was off the prescription pain meds after 3 days and now only take 1 valium at night if I'm having muscle spasms/tightness.
First 3 days was hell, after that it improved a lot. Honestly, I haven't had TT or thigh lift (yet- TT is in 2 weeks) but I've heard from everyone that those are WAY worse than boobs.
The most limiting thing for me right now is clothing, I have to wear a strap over the top of my chest to help drop the implants into my breast pocket, and if I wear a form-fitting top it shows. I look weirdly muscular now anyway though, because the implants look like pecs. So I just wear baggy sweaters or sweatshirts. If you do it over the holidays and it's cold out, that'd work out perfectly.

I had my TT and implants (no lift) at the same time. I took 2 weeks off work. Drains were the worst (from TT). Not a lot of pain from implants and they were put under muscle. As far as mammograms go, they take a few extra x-rays but really not much different than before, for me at least.
