I had that all done..plus the muscle tightning.....Lots of pain..lots of pain meds., but you would think it would be from all those cuts.....the actual pain was from the muscle tightning....the 4 ddrains were most unpleasant also....But worth it...you BET!!!! the lift chair really helps....but not real comfortable to sleep in unless it goes all the way back...mine didnt go back far enough....I have pics if you want to see them send me your email address.

I had the LBL, BL, arms and medial thigh lift and was out a little over 11 hr with an epidural.  4 days later I had a full face lift.  Dr Sauceda rocks.  I had one recovery period and was off work 8 weeks.  I was driving after 2 weeks, when I got back home.  I did spend 7 days in the clinic with 24/7 care and then 7 days at the hotel, with Dr Sauceda and his nurse Patti both stopping by daily.  The pain wasn't terrible, more with the face than all the body work.  You do walk a little stooped over with the ab work.

Hi Chris,

Yes, I remeber following your recovery very closely (and Tom's).  I know it's doable so thanks for giving me alittle more insight as to how much help I should prepare to have.

Hugs
Christina

Hi GUys, sorry if this sounds like a silly question but when Dr S does it with an epidural are you also given some kind of twilight sedation or are you completely aware of what is going on in the OR??

From everything I've read, you are sedated, so you are not awake for the procedures. I have read of people's experiences where they remember "waking up" and telling the surgeon before going back out. Sounds freaky, but at least you're not feeling anything because of the epidural.

When I communicated with him when considering him for my surgeries, he said twilight with epidural for LBL and thigh lift.
