What did you bring to the hospital? Did you stay over night?

I really don't remember.  I was completely out of it.  I want to say 6 or 12, but I'm not sure.

My iron and related levels were low or on the verge of low before plastics and I should have waited and gotten them higher beforehand, but I was eager and the PS said that they were good enough.

Now that you ask me, I really don't remember if I even got the details of the bloodloss.  Like I said, I was out of it due to the combination of being doped up on pain meds and being so ******g anemic.  I guess I got the impression that I lost more than anticipated.  I do have a history of being a bit of a bleeder, too.

If I were you, I'd do whatever you can to get those levels up now.

Stayed in hotel near dr office.  It was a 4 hour drive so a pillow was a must for the trip home.  I had tummy tuck and implants.  Loose sweat pants and a button down shirt as I didnt want to lift my arms.  Went to dr the next morning to be checked out and then hit the road home.

I was planning on a 1 night stay and ended up staying 3 due to a complication/blood loss and needed a blood transfusion.  Bring as little as possible.  I brought a laptop and an ipod and that's it.  I wore the same clothes I wore to the hospital as on the way home.  The hospital will have all the toiletries you need, plus they should have cable tv.

If you're not staying overnight, I'd honestly bring absolutely nothing.  You're not going to want to unpack it and neither is your helper.
