how much did the skin weigh on the tt

i'm having a tt and i'm wondering how much the skin weighs

Had my TT nine weeks ago...my surgeon told me he removed 10lbs of skin during surgery. I had such a large Panni, when he made the first incision my skin fell to my knees!

Depends on how much is removed and if there is much fat attached. I had 2 square feet of skin removed with my lbl, so about an 8 inch wide strip all the way around, and it weighed about 5 pounds (not much fat).

It's surprising really I have lost 310 pounds and had fleur de lis tummy tuck and figured wow there will be lots of skin coming off but ps said she only took off about 7 pounds.  Weird I would have thought it would be way more with losing that much weight.  She said it depends on lots of things like genetics your age I guess if your skin shrinks back more I dunno.  My brother was saying oh yeah you probably got about 20 - 25 pounds of skin after losing all that weight.

I had an LBL and about 6 pounds was removed....most of it from the tummy.  You can see my before and afters if you want to know what about 6 pounds of excess looks like.  (No password needed.)

 Wow, your surgery pics look absolutely fabulous.  What a great job he did!

My LBL and BL combined was less than 3 pounds.

lbl last year took 8 lbs. I ended up at 123 lbs; but have come back to the same weight I was pre-lbl.

Getting ready for round 2 in under 2 weeks.

However, I have dropped and maintained losing 1 dress size

Had my TT on 8/29/11... PS took off 3.2 lbs....

I am 7 weeks post-op.  Doctor says the skin weighed 14+ almost 15 pounds.  It is a huge difference in my appearance and I just can't get used to how awesome it looks and feels.
