3rd consult - She's the one!
I posted last week about having 2 conflicting consults and got several helpful replies. Thank you!
I went on my 3rd consult this morning and I will absolutely be having my plastics with Dr. Marisa Lawrence of Atlanta. She had example photos of many, many post-bariatric clients who had similar body issues as I do. This was so helpful! She also took close to an hour with me, manipulating my skin throughout the entire consult, trying different implant sizes and discussing staging options. What a great experience!
Here's the plan: She feels absolutely confident in doing the lower body lift with mons lift, as well as the boobs and arms all in the same surgery. Silicone implants. Augmentation only on the right breast and augmentation plus a small lift using a peri-areolar incision on my left breast - they are only slightly assymetrical. So, that means no "key-hole" incision on my breasts, which I wanted to avoid!
We are not going to do a vertical belly incision at this point, but will consider adding it during stage 2 with my inner thighs and any remaining back roll issues or revisions that need to occur. She says that a vertical incision will scar better that way, as well, should I want the additional abdominal tightness.
The cost is only $4,000 more than my 2nd consult and I feel completely on board with this strategy!
Thanks everyone!

Thanks, Jenny!
6 to 8 hours of anesthesia time
I was thoroughly impressed with her post-bariatric experience. While the other surgeons had a few examples of pictures of WLS patients, Dr. Lawrence had literally 2 notebooks filled with nothing but post-weight loss patients and many of them had the same roll over the belly button that I have.
She also offers the On-Q Pain pump which I wanted and the other two offices do not use.
It was a great consult that left me feeling confident!

Wow. That is a lot of work. I had less done and was under for 7 hours. Glad you found a surgeon you feel confident with. That is so important.
