Help with Appeal Letter

Hi Everyone...I am working on my appeal letter to BCBS for a Breast lift for severe ptosis and implants to correct asymmetry. According to the surgeon, I have one breast that hangs about 3 inches lower than the other, thus the asymmetry, and of course the sagging left from weight loss.  I have always had one breast bigger than the other (about a cupsize) but dont have documentation because I always assumed that this was "normal". Before weight loss, the fat in my breasts made the situation less obvious. After successful RNY, I have lost 135 lbs, but am left with one breast that is about an "A" cup and another that is a "B".I haveto wear padded bras and of course the loose skin just sits in the bottom of the cups. I'm not going to bore you with the details of finding a bra that fits and what I look like without one on! Unfortunataly, BCBS considers this cosmetic in nature.

I have collected some sample letters but I really would appreciate hearing from anyone with a similiar situation. I have other cosmetic procedures I want done but decided to start with the most bothersome first.

I am looking for words to "wow" BCBS! I appreciate any help out there. They need to see this isn't something I want to be a DD...just want the "girls" up and the same size! Thanks everyone!

All I can say is good luck. Most of us have been denied for needing skin removed from stomachs and skin that fall to our knees. Insurance companies like mine say that it does not hinder daily activity.. So again... good luck!
