Can anyone help me with the following? I have already had a TT, this procedure is for a monsplasty.

Did you wear a compression garmet and if yes for how long?

How long were your swollen?

Did you have a drain?

How long were you off work?

Were you happy you did it?

Thanks everyone!!

Mine was done in conjunction with my lower body lift, so not sure what was due to the lbl or the mons lift. I wore a compression garment for 6 weeks and have been wearing supportware since then. My mons area was swollen for a while but is pretty flat now. I'm 10 weeks out. So happy the excess skin down there is gone!! I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

Gosh Laura,
I hadn't seen mine in sooooo long (LOL), if I only knew how awful it was gonna look after the LBL I would have inquired!
Thank you all for your honesty, I really LOVE this board.

Mine was done at the same time as my TT and I love it!  It was the best part of my TT - well, the second best part!  It swelled with the rest of my body so it didn't seem out of the ordinary.  I swell massively with plastics because they always remove so much!  I can't answer the out of work, part because I was out of work for all the procedures I had.  I wore my compression garment for 8 weeks - 24/7 and am now wearing it during the day to decrease swelling.

I would do it again in a snap!

Mine looks so oblong now! I am not thrilled about it. I had a LBL 8 weeks ago. Planning on a BL & arms getting done in dec. And thighs in summer. Maybe the shape will change enough by summer, so I can decide if I should get that taken care of too when they do the thighs.

I am so glad to hear other people chimming in to say they had this area addressed too! Whew!

Thanks for sharing,
Carmen

I'm curious about the same thing becuase my surgeon didn't touch that area with my LBL so I will have to have it done later.  I am hoping maybe they can do it with the thigh lift.

Debtfree,
I hope you don't mind me asking, but, what will the upper body lift include exactly? I too am considering having that done when they do thigh lift next summer. Did you get an estimate how much that would run you for the mons?

I had a LBL 8 weeks ago. Thank goodness for this board and the ladies for being soooo honest to discuss these things. I feel like mine is HUGE! Maybe it seems like it with the apron now gone, I know I am not liking mine.

Carmen, I was adament with my surgeon that he lift it.  I asked if he charged more because mine was so bad.  I knew with a flat tummy, it would look like a "scrotum" - He insisted he always lifted it with the LBL or TT and I would be pleased.  I was.

I'm getting the UBL with my breast lift.  It will run along my back just below my bra line.  I have a lot of back fat that needs to be removed.  This is the only way to remove it.  I had an Anchor Cut TT and a LBL and my tummy is flat and lower back is flat, but still have that upper back fat.  It's just ugly and shows when I wear a teeshirt,

When I had a consultation for a LBL, the surgeon said that he lifted the mons area, also.
