I have my date - LBL

Yay!!!!!!! The red tape has finally cleared and I have my date!

I am using UT Southwestern Residency Program in Dallas. I have Dr Michael Lee as the resident and Dr Jeffrey Kenkel as the faculty member overseeing my surgery. Dr Kenkel is an expert on body contouring and I feel very lucky to have him! He told me that Dr Lee was a very good surgeon and when I said that Dr Lee had great things to say about him; he said, " ahhh.. I'm ok."

Has anyone heard of Cosmet Insurance? Dr Kenkel requires this to protect them and me for 30 days after the surgery and he also uses the pain pump. Anyone have experience with the pain pump?

I think I have everything ready. I have only been waiting since April for my date.

How did you decide on this particular surgeon?  I am just starting the process of looking into a LBL in the Dallas area.  Would love to hear your thoughts!!

Originally I was going to go with Dr Sauced in Monterrey. But with all the violence, not an option. Another factor was cost. Because they are "students" they are supervised. The cost for my LBS is $6600.
I feel very comfortable with them. The process can be very slow.

I had the pain pump and am sure it must have helped. I was never in much pain. After the medicine ran out, I just pulled out the tubing.
