Skin discoloration and welts

I have a post-op appointment with my PS on Wednesday, but I have a question and a bit of a concern. I have noticed yesterday that below the incision line in the pubic area, specifically along the incision line and below, it appears the skin turned a dark brown color and has multiple welts forming under the skin.

I first noticed it yesterday. Is this normal? I'm only seeing it here. I am a little worried and would like to know if there is anything I should do differently or if there is something I should put on it. Has anyone had any sililar incidents like this?

UPDATE:

Here are the pics. Thanks Carmen.

Paul, is there any "different pain" going on? Ozzing??? Signs of infection?

I have discoloration as it is the incission line. Also could be the old stretch marks are in a different place from the skin being pulled up & down in that area.

Welts? could itbe a rash? possibly a reaction to something applied to that area?

I don't know if I helped any. But I am thinking its old stretch marks in a new position.

You might be right about the rash thing, but not sure. I don't see any signs of infection like oozing or real intense pain. It kinda feels like a sunburn when I touch it. If I could I would upload a couple of pictures but I don't know how to put them in a post. Would I just cut and paste or is there a different method?

Now lets not upset our OH staff Paul. You created quite a stir! LOL!!!  How many "hits" did that post generate? Teehee!!!!

All kidding aside, First I download it to My Profile pictures. Then go back and click it open on your profile and you can copy and paste it in a post. You can open 2 tabs (screens) to do it easier.

Good luck,
Carmen

Thanks. It feels like a sunburn, so I'm thinking it may be a heat rash, but still doesn't explain the discoloration. I'm hanging in there. I'll know more on Wednesday.

To my eyes it really doesn't look that bad! I think its a major key that you don't have any drainage, reddish coloring and pain. Could it be scar tissue forming? I have a spot that feels really tender and no color change, feels a lot like a bruise. Dr assured me it was just the muscles trying to heal and the scar tissue build up.

Let me know how the Dr's apt goes tomorrow! Hope you get a clean bill of health!!!
