Saline implant deflated
Hello.
I had a breast augmentation in december 2007 with saline implants under the muscle. Yesterday I had a soccer game with my university team(this was just the second game of the year) and I got tackled and falled forward and landed on the front of my body in the end of the game. My implant did not deflated at first but I could feel a tingling in my left breast. I choosed to not take a shower with my team mates as I often shower at home after our games as I live near the arena. When I was going into the shower I noticed that my left breast had deflated. I have of course fallen many times before and I do not not know what gone wrong this time. I thought that my implants would be more durable than this. :(

Bummer! I am so sorry. I imagine I would be incredibly upset by this situation.
This is definitely a risk, going on the entire life of the implant.
You might consider replacing the implants with silicon as they will not immediately deflate if there is a rupture. But then, of course, you need to stay on top of making sure of getting scans to make sure they haven't ruptured and leaking silicon into your body.
