Approval from BCBS-Okla. Infraumbilical Panniculectomy

I got BCBS to approve this procedure after 1 appeal. I'm planning on having a total Lower Body Lift and a small medial thigh lift. It will be interesting to see how far the insurance money will go from the approved procedure to covering what I'm wanting to have done. Any comments. I'm wondering if the LBL would do enough medial thigh tightening to eliminate the need for the medial thigh lift. The skin is very moderate and only apx. 5 inches from groin. Any thoughts please. Congrats!!  Are you using Sawan?  I know Walton and Broussard are big fans of his.  I used him for my LBL.  I don't know the answer to your question but I'm sure someone here will be answering before long.   Good luck!!

Yes I am considering using Dr. Sawan. I had a sleve with Dr. Walton on July 28th, 2010. I would appreciate any info you might have. Thanks for your post..... Steve
