Help with other "shape" wear???

Hey Ladies need a little help here!?

Just had my six week check up and my Doctor said to cut down on the time I am in my binder. Said just when I need it or a couple hours a day. Really wants me to buy "Shape" wear or girdle type undergarments. Spanx? Wondering what everyone else is wearing after their binder is off.

What brands are good and where can I find them?

Thanks for any and all help!

I like flexsees brand from Kohls.. But for *me* they are expensive.. I have a friend who thinks they are cheap- it's all perspective. They run about $50, but can sometimes be found on clearance for under $10., which is how I got two.

There is a target brand- can't remember the name, but they are pretty comfy too..

I'm not using the binder, I'm using the vest that uses the hooks in the front. PS said I could swith over to a Spanx shirt for men next week. I ordered one and it's expensive.

Flexeeses I bought from  JC Pennys. I bought it during one of JCP many sales, it was buy one get 2nd half off. And I bought another one called "IN CONTROL"  also purchased at JCP.
Does get costly, but, gotta view it as an investment.

Thanks you guys!  You were so much help. I figured they wouldn't be cheap. Which is fine, I gotta have a couple and will be wearing them for the next three to four weeks.

You guys are the best...Thanks for steering me in the right directions. Makes it so much less overwhelming.

I'll give these suggestions a try! Happy healing everyone

I'm a frugal girl. I am using Wal Marts "Sweet Nothings" boy shorts. Cheap and gives me a lot of support around the middle (they come up almost to my braline). Someone else I know was told that WM's Cupid brand was good, too. If you have a Hanes Outlet near you, they have inexpensive Spanx-type shapewear.

Be sure to check stores like Ross, Marshalls, TJ Maxx, etc

I'm like you and saw some garments at sears for $50 and knew I needed to keep looking!!  I don't spend that much on any piece of clothing - mush less undergarments!  LOLI found some spanx-like garments at Ross that I wear everyday (5 1/2 weeks out from LBL/BL) for $7.99.  I also bought a couple for $14.99 at Target that are actually a little more comfortable.

I bought one of these corsets to keep the extra pressure on during work when the surgical binder would be too  uncomfortable

And I bought a couple of pairs of these to wear over the corset (I've had some weird thigh swelling even though they wern't worked on - and the extra compression helps)

But I have to keep several around because the get gunk on them from the open sore areas, and so they get washed frequently.
