Sneezing

Well, everything looks normal, nothing looks like its bulging out of place, and it doesn't hurt that bad maybe on a scale of 1-10 its like a dull 1-2. It just bothers me. Maybe it got pulled and that's why it's so tender there. Or maybe it's the numbness wearing off and I'm just feeling it in more places than others. I called the surgeon's office but he's out all week and I wont get to see him until my next appointment which is on the 31st. So I will just keep an eye on it for now and make mental notes if anything changes. I appreciate all of your feedback and it helps put me at ease for now. Thanks Cyndy.

I have had the same feeling. And TRUST ME...I either have held my sneezes in for days or try and do it so soft. Either way I've had a couple that leave me sore till the next day. I doubt you actually riped any stitches. But I think just using our muscles that way after having such intense surgery on them is the hard part. They are already outta wack (for lack of better words).

Hope you get the sneezing gently down...it really does help. I still brace myself before I sneeze!

Thanks. I sneezed one other time and I tried to do it gently and it helped a little, not as much pain. I have a pre-op appointment on the 31st so we will have to wait and see what the PS says. Thanks for the input, I feel better about it.

You are not overreacting at all.  I was 2 weeks post-op and I sprayed some airfreshner in my room and I guess my nose did nto like it because I went into a sneezing fit.  OMG I thought I would die. 

It hurt so freakin bad.  Then a few days later the surprise sneeze in the PS surgeons office took me to my knees.  So no you are not overreacting but rest assure that your stitches are ok.

Thanks Carla. I do feel better than I did. Friday will be 2 weeks for me so I'm hoping no more sneezing and no suprise sneezes to. Thanks for the reply.
