Hello everyone, I have xcess skin on my arms and I hate it sooooooo bad. Is there anyone that

has had their arms done? Is it extremely painful? I don't really care about the scar as long as my
arms are not jiggling...I live in Michigan; does anyone know of a good Plastic Surgeon that does arms? I know insurance does not pay for this; any information will be greatly appreciated.

Yes, you can get a brachioplasty/arm lift.

I got mine done about 5 weeks ago....and i looove the results. Every morning i look in the mirror and smile.

Recovery was super, super simple. I was down for a few days, but after that, nothing major.

I paid 3800 for mine...but was quoted upwards of 6-7k.

Many of us here have had our arms done - it's called brachioplasty.

I have pics on my profile if you're interested. I had some keloid scars which I have recently had revised. But I'd still do it again in a heartbeat.

I had a brachioplasty 4 weeks ago. Today, I'm going in to have a large hematoma removed from my left arm. Even with that little "complication" I would do it again in a heartbeat! I love my arms!! The scar really isn't bad at all. I paid $4500 but was quoted as much as $12,100, so be aware that prices vary greatly. I have some pics on my profile of before/after. The after are right after the surgery - it looks so much worse than it feels. Best of luck to you!

I had brachioplasty about 20 months ago. Best decision ever!! I love, love, love my arms and get lots of compliments on them, even from people who never knew I was overweight (meaning they think my arms look great, not just that "my arms look great for someone who used to be 200 pounds heavier". big difference).

My pain was never bad. The first 3 days they were a bit stiff because they were bound tightly to prevent swelling.I could have gone back to work easily after 10 days.

I had my arms done first because they were relatively inexpensive (I paid $3900) and I could hide the rest with shapewear. I did have a lbl/bl 8 weeks ago. I am thrilled with my results (pics on my profile- password abc123).

I would do it again in a heartbeat!!

You're welcome. I like paying it forward. If I had to choose only one part, I definitely would have chosen my arms. Low cost, pretty easy recovery, and you can't hide arms (well, I guess you can, but I like wearing sleeveless shirts).

Good luck to you and keep us posted!!
