Just saw my boyfriend~ 1st time since plastics

 I am soooo happy for you!! I know what you mean about being happy in your own skin!!! My hubby has loved me from large to super size me to now with loose skin....  He didnt think surgery was necessary as he loves me as i am ...  But I can't wait for him to come home from his deployment so he can see   what a difference it has truly made in how I carry myself.  Don't get me wrong even at 240 I was never a shrinking violet but I did hold back a lot as to not to draw too much attention  even in the bedroom......  Now I can't help but catch myself in the mirror.... Its amazing what 6.5 lbs chopped off can do for a girl!!! LOL

Amen, I say amen sisters!  Walking around nekkid this weekend, feeling normal and having my boyfriend of a few months who is younger at 52, look over with lust in his eyes was pure enjoyment for me.  I'm no spring chicken at 59, but look damn good now, even with all my scars.  He was exploring them as I was telling him where there was feeling and where it was still numb.  The mons lift, made everything tightened up and not like the Grand Canyon any more. 

I wore a short mini skirt out both nights, one for Fri night dancing, Sat was at a winery with nice music.  He couldn't keep his eyes off my legs and my tucked in top on Sat night.  It's been way too many years to remember when I last tucked my shirt into a skirt.

Laura - hope your weekend was as sweet as mine was.  1300 miles is a long way away.  I'm glad that it went so well.  Isn't it nice to prance just a bit and feel sexy!

When people ask is it worth it for plastics, my answer is a definite HELL YES!

I am so happy for you Laura!  I have been following your progress and you look absolutely amazing!  Sounds like you found a keeper- he's a lucky man.

I have same issues with the thighs and boobies but I don't feel embarrassed to be naked in front of my hubby anymore either.  My husband is a good man and loves me either way also.  But now I guess I have an attitude change and because my female parts look normal and young lol I just want to show him all of me all the time lol. 

I don't even care that my belly button is gone. 

You must feel so good.  Shopping for new cloths is gonna be so much fun.

Hey! We have a lot in common!  Wow!  LOL  I'm 41.  My boyfriend and I were boyfriend/girlfriend 25 years ago when I was  in high school.  We lost touch over the years but reunited 1-1/2 years ago.  He loved me skinny, skinny with floppy skin, and will love me thin with scars too (after my PS...well, I have scars now from my DS also).  He also lives FAR away from me...1016 miles to be exact!  He's not thrilled about my wanting to do PS...he says I'm fine the way I am and he's concerned that something terrible could happen during the surgery...but he is trying to support my decision.  Because I, too, want to feel good in my own skin.  I don't want to be self-conscious when we make love.  I want to walk around naked in front of him proudly. :)

Very personal question and please don't answer if you'd rather not...but if you were intimate during this surprise visit, was it painful?  Do you feel you were healed enough to make love?  I told him we would probably have to wait 6 to 8 weeks.  LOL..we're not teenagers and can definitely control ourselves...I'm just curious.
