I had never shaved before, heck I couldn't see my female parts due to pannis and herniated mons.  They trimed me to short stuble.

2-weeks post-op I was readmitted for heart issues and had to have a angiogram/cardiac cath.  Due to the position of my drains on each side they trimmed me to barely a stuble to prepare for cath insertion in the groin.

I think I like it at a stuble but not sure if hubby will like that much lol.  My new female parts look like I am 16 again lol but the hair line is questionable.  I dont mind though.  I am very happy with the way it looks.

I was shaved during surgery, the top half. My doc told me he was going to and not to shave or wax before.

Get things tidy.  They will shave you if they want.

I asked my PS about this before mine. He said just to do whatever i normally do, no special instructions..

I usually keep mine fully shaved but was a little worries about not being able to keep up the 'maintenance' and keep it from getting to that itchy point!

So i borrowed my hubby's 'personal groomer' and just trimmed it down to about a 1/4". It worked good and they didnt shave anything during the surgery, and my new hairline is below my incision.

My previous hairline was about 1/2" over my c-section scar from 25 years ago. It itched at the scar at times, but like it lower where it is now.

Best of luck on your surgery!!
