So glad that your wound issues are resolving. You look great! You have such an hourglass shape. I am really tight from my tummy tuck. I thought over time it might loosen up a bit but I'm still flat and hard as a rock. I've just accepted it as my new tummy and I love it. Hope you love yours too!

SiberianCat, You look great! May I ask a question? The circle above the wound, is that your new belly button?

It is my same "old" belly button.  The plastic surgeon cut a circle around it and pulled lower belly skin  up  or upper belly skin down - not sure which - to suture around my old belly button.

I've seen video of procedures where they use a "V" cut and I think it leaves less scar than the circle like mine, and looks more natural.

I don't plan to be showing my belly - so I don't care (I really didn't even care if I had a belly button or not).  If you are younger and wanting to "save" your belly button - I would talk with plastic surgeon about the type of incision he/she uses and what type incision you would prefer.

Hope that helps.

Hi again,

No, I don't care about my bellybutton one way or the other. I was just curious. I hadn't seen a pic yet with the bellybutton (since I am just starting to research) and just wanted to ask. Thanks for the reply and helping me learn.
