I will have my seroma fixed and revision for my tummy tuck on September 1.

He will remove more skin and do lipo on my mons area.

Can you please tell me  is lipo very painful?

Also if someone had revision, just extra skin remove, how long was recovery?

I have only 1 week off.

And please say prayer for me.

Thank you.

Alla

Well I am only 10 days out, but yes the lipo on my flanks and on my pubic area hurt bad! That was worse than the FTT. Just really made me sore.

I'm about five weeks out and had a lot of lipo done. I am still really tender in some areas. All bruising is gone, but still swollen.

Best of luck!!!

Lipo can leave you very, very sore. You'll have a lot of bruising and even after it fades you will still be tender. Normally recovery from just skin removal is not as challenging as muscle work, but it's an incision and there's potential complications as far as healing and infection. Just make sure you follow your surgeon's post-op instructions. One week might not be enough time to recover. I hope everything goes well for you, Alla!

I had scar revision (with a bit more skin removed) and a breast lift about 10 days ago.  No lipo though.

The scar revision part was EASY.  The part with the skin removed hurt more than the simple scar revisions - but still not bad.  Even with the BL - I only took pain meds for about 4 days.  I went to "work" at a week out (I'm a teacher - and off in the summer, but did a teacher camp and was up and working (and socializing).

I'm not sure if lipo would have made it worse...but as it was I didn't struggle at all.
