1 week post BL
I'm a week out of my breast lift (techinically a reduction, but he didn't actually remove much) and scar revision.
I'm feeling pretty great. Off all pain medication since Friday. Today, most of the bandages came off, with the exception of a couple tiny spots that are still a bit "wet". I've started the silicone gel bandages on all the dry parts to stave off the keloid scars (HOPEFULLY!!).
My nipples have a bit of sensation - but certainly not back to normal. My breasts are still MUCH bigger than I was lead to believe at both consults I went to with a lift alone...he has performed a miracle! I know they will still settle and are most likely still swollen somewhat...but I've lost anythign I gained in hospital..my pants and rings all fit...I'm hoping not too much of it is swelling as I don't have swelling in many other places!
I've updated pics on my profile that show more detail. But I photoshoped a bikini on myself so I could post one here for those of you that aren't friends and don't want to go to the trouble just to see my boobs!

I am. I had low expectations - the dr. here (the "boob" expert) told me I'd look totatlly flat with a lift alone...but I certainly don't. I'm hoping I end up a full B after this...that and a good bra and I'm good to go!
And so far, everything seems to be settling into a somewhat normal appearance...

You look great Erica. It does take some time for all the swelling to go away completely...like 3 months or so. You are a great size...pretty much like mine. As for the scars. well I kinda scar like you do but they are not raised just angry red, BUT, my breasts didn't do the same thing. They faded nicely and I think it's because there's not a lot of tension on them like on my tummy. Hopefully yours will heal up better. Did the scar revision on the arms work? Or is it too soon to tell? I'm really worried about that cause of how I scar.

Here are my 1 week arm scars:
The lines are nice and pretty smooth. Healing nicely. Hard to say as they looked the same last time at 1 week out.
My surgeon thinks these will heal much better - as most of my scar did the first time. The part under my armpit is pretty much invisible. But the area that was under the greatest strain due to the cutting and pulling - it went keloid. Same as my tummy - the greatest tension would have been on the vertical scar...and the horizontal one is white and flat.
He thinks that since this time, it is just a surface cut, it will not have that tension and will heal well. But we are being super aggressive with compression garments (custom ones like burn victims wear) and silicone scar sheets.
Here's hoping!
