Day 24 and back to work.  I have a mostly desk job as a nurse. I wore my compression garment under my breast down to my knees.  I wore a smashing outfit!  I slept terrible last night as usual since surgery due to pain.  I want to sleep on my side and it wakes me up!  Everyone was so excited to see me!  I have many, many more people to see yet.  I didn't even make it over to the hospital yet to show off.  I have a lot of people who've followed my entire journey on Facebook.
It hurt so bad sitting up in my office chair.  My compression garment really hurt.  I've not sat straight up for prolonged periods at home.  I found getting up and walking around helped a lot  I brought my worthless Tylenol with me.  I felt tired and not very productive.  That is normal for me after returning from surgery.  My advice to you all is to get up an walk if you have pain.
Oh and many people didn't realize I had implants because they dropped and looked more natural. That is what I was going for. Hopefully tomorrow will go better in regards to pain.

I just had a brachio and went back to work last week. It was tiring and I had a lot more aches. I just took it easy and went to bed early

It will improve each day!

I'm 31 days out, have a desk job as well and STILL have a lot of discomfort. I agree...I think its the sitting in the upright position for a consecutive amount of time that is so hard. I am still using a lot of pillows at home when I am on the couch, and am not sitting totally upright. At work it feels like my hips want to rip apart and they burn. Thankfully each week I feel better. I do take breaks and stand for a bit, that seems to help when it gets real bad.

Glad to hear your not in too much discomfort. Everyone must love to see you back and looking so beautiful! I am jealous that your breast have dropped. My left one has, but the right has not. I have a six week apt. in about another week and a half. They said the Dr. will place me in a special bra to get the other breast to drop. Can't wait, right now the right is sitting up higher than the left.

Best of luck to you and congrats on the new beautiful body! HAPPY HEALING!

Congrats at getting back to work!

I went back to work at 2 weeks out (Didn't have anymore time available and FMLA does not apply to my job) and thought I was going to die I was so tired. (I work as a 3 year old preschool teacher).  i had talked to the kids before about how I had an "owie" in my tummy that the doctor was going to fix and that the "owie" would take a LONG time to heal so I would not be able to pick them up and they still tell me "NO pick up!!! your owie not better yet!

But I totaly understand the whole useless tylenol and sitting hurts parts of your post!  I promise it does get better a little bit every day!

Walk when you can, sit when you can, and get others to pick stuff you drop up!
