Ahhhhh HELP!!!

Today I went to the gym, not to do anything strenuous, I rode the stationary bike 30 minutes, NO tension or speed added.  And I got off the bike because my A$$ which is partially numb, became  numb-er! (is that how I spell that?).

So I got off the bike, and tried the threadmill , what a huge mistake that was! I kept feeling my butt, to make sure my underware and pants were still up, because I thought they were falling down. But because my butt, is still so numb, I was clueless. So if anyone was behind me, they probably were wondering , "why is that lady picking and touching her a$$ so much?". So I gave up after 5 minutes, absolutely  frustrated .

My husband asks me where I was going, and I whispered to him how my a$$ is so numb that I can't tell if the pants are falling down. And being a man, he wants to help me "fix" this lil problem, and suggests I purchase some suspenders!!!!!!!!!!!

And there have been times, that when I am trying clothes on, and I am getting ready to take em off, I noticed I have a  wedggie!!!!!!! But I never feel it coming on!!!!!!!!!!!! Why is that? BECAUSE MY FLAT A$$ IS TOTALLY NUMB! It feels like a foreign object there!!!

So anyone else out there have this problem?

I can pretty much feel all of my butt now. My implant area is a little numb, but I still have feeling there.

Sorry you're having a tough time, but your post did make me chuckle. I would have been one of the peeps at the gym wondering why you kept touching your butt

Hi Laura,
and here I thought,  "no ones watching when they go to the gym, cause everyone is so focused on their own workout".  Well I guess I'm abit  "niave", huh?

When I had my TT - with vertical incision - my entire stomach area was numb for awhile.  The first few times my hubby and I got "intimate", I almost freaked because if felt so weird to feel the edges of his stomach touch the edges of mine - but nothing in the middle.  Like we were both concave.

WHen I ran - it went numb again.  This has gotten better - but I still  have some numbness for about 15 min after running if I run far enough (about 5K).

Good for  you!

For me - the first few times were freaky because my stomach muscles were in permanent contraction...that made things feel different for sure!

Carmen - you are not alone!  I am still relatively numb from my waist down my backside.  It feels incredibly odd and also cannot tell if my clothes are falling down in the back.  I am also flatter from my waist downward which isn't helping clothes stay up.  Ugh!!!

We're never happy are we? LOL First we're complaining that there arent clothes big enough to cover us up and now we cant seem to find them small enough to stay on our thin bodies

It took me over 8 weeks to get back into my jeans.  Now, everything is so slick, I can hardly keep them up.  I'm wearing belts and cinching them up to keep my jeans up.  The panni skin kept the jeans up before.  I wasn't cleared for exercise for 8 weeks but I had everything done at once.  The only exercise that I'm doing now is dancing.   But, walking, I'm constantly pulling up the back of my pants.
