I've got no words of advice as I am still pre-op...and my surgeon does not use binder or compression of any sort.

I just had to say that I spit my coffee out on my keyboard when I saw the "pig in a blanket".

Very funny!

Hope it keeps getting better for you!

Glad I could give you a morning laugh. So how is healing for you with no binder of any sort? Do you swell really bad or is it one of those it depends on how you feel day by day type things? I took it off for like 30 mins and feel a little better. That might be what I have to do...take it off 2 times a day for like 20-30 mins. Thanks

I was told i could take mine off for an hour in the morning and an hour in the evening to air out my incisions.

I never feel better than when I have mine off for the shower. I have a full garment, goes from boobs to thighs, and I call it the torture device! Four weeks cannot come quick enough!

I am still loving life with my sleeve! Been maintaining at or below goal for over 4 years!

For me actualy after 10 min of my binder being off it start to feel really uncomfortable (like my gut are falling out or swelling up or somethinhg) My ps says off only to shower. But to air every thing out I guess you could just don't get crazy start walking around and stuff.

Thanks ladies. I figured out why I felt so stuffed this morning..."mother nature" decided to show up a couple of days early . So I decided I will sit with the binder off 15mins and then put it back on until shower time. The binder I went home in is what I wear now but my PS advised I could wear just a compression garments so during this "time" i'll go that route instead of my binder(which i actually love)

Good day...K.Free

I took mine off sometimes, but not for long.  I'd also loosen it when it woke me up at night.
