How is your swelling over the course of the day. You know I'm a couple of weeks ahead of you and some days I feel like I look a few months pregnant! I know that "they" say that type of swelling can stick around for a long time......

Thanks!! My swelling comes and goes. This morning I look pregnant, other mornings I look flat. I go back to work on Monday and think I'll be wearing dresses most of the time since swelling won't matter if I'm in a dress.

Wow! Your results are awesome!

May I ask, did you do your proceedures as an outpatient? I had a consult for a LBL and BL and they told me they would send me home same day! It kind of freaked me out because I live an hour from the hospital. Gee, I stayed a night in the hospital when I had lap band surgery!

May I also ask how much you paid? If you don't want to say exaclty, perhaps you can give me a range?

I spent 2 nights in the hospital and am so glad I did. I slept 95% of the time. Getting over anesthesia was tough for me. My doctor said it's because I'm a lightweight/non-drinker...lol. By the time I went home, I did not need any help getting in and out of bed, which was nice.

Most people seem to pay anywhere from 15-30K for a lbl/bl. Mine was the higher end of that range, but I think my doctor is one of the top 10 in the country when it comes to reconstructive surgery after massive weight loss. I think my results show what an artist he is.
