I had a TT with the vertical and horizontal incisions and brachioplasty last October.  I had a desk job - and returned to work after 18 days.  I went back to full days right away.  It was not an issue at all.

I was very tired at the end of the day - I left right on time (kinda counted down the last hour or so!) for the first couple of days, but then was back to normal.

I have a high pain tolerance for sure - but the TT muscle part was the most painful for me.  It was only an issue (needing pain meds) for about 5 days.  I slept in my recliner those days because it would have been hard for me to move around to get into position on my bed.  I didn't have trouble getting up and down from a chair or toilet - I was worried about the "scooching" you need to do to get onto the bed and turned into position.  But I was fine for that after 5 days too - if you're in Mexico for 14days, you should be fine for a regular chair and your own bed when you get home.

Good luck!

Thanks Erica!

BTW, I love your new boob size!!!  My doctor said I'll be a full B cup (no implant). I'm soooo looking forward to that, lol.

I had tummy tuck with vertical incision with muscle tightening and took 4 weeks off.  I could have gone back at 3, but since I had 4 approved I took it.  I also had a desk job.

I didn't use a recliner.  I was going up and down stairs (carefully) after 2 days.  I slept in a regular bed and was able to get in/out by myself.

Spending 2 weeks in Mexico, I'm sure when you get home you'll be feeling much better.

Ireturned to work at 3 weeks after TT sept 22 last year.
The most harder part was sitting whole day, in the end off the day I was in such pain and can not move.
It took almost 1 month to get really comfortable for me after long day at work.

Thanks Alla. I guess I'll have to split my lunch hour, sleeping & walking, so I don't get sore sitting all day.
