Anyone have a stitch showing with TT?

I have a stitch showing above my thigh.  It looks like they were doing a large simple stitch.  It looks to be a thick purple thread. I've been shedding some of my scabs and just noticed this tonight.  The site looks good, a little open but ok.  No redness or drainage. I have 2 stitch knots on each side of my chest wall from the implants/lift. The doctor said that those would dissolve.  They do bother me a little because they are hard.  I see the doctor on Tues so I'll bring all of this up.  I just wondered if any of you TT had seen a stitch like this. I've had a lot of surgery but never had a stitch hanging out!

Yep, I had all kinds of quirky little things happen after my TT.  I even noticed some weight knot thingy in my lower abdomen near my mons area. I am 2 years out now and no more weird stuff.  Hang in there, keep the site clean it will get better /look feel better soon :)

I didn't have that w/ my LBL but did have some stitches come out of the BL incisions as well as the MTL incisions. Some even popped out well after the incisons closed. I noticed what looked like a blood blister. When I kinda popped it there was a suture coming out. Early on it's normal for a stitch to come thru. If it's bothering you cuz it's  hard your surgeon can trim it down. My surgoen gently pulled on i****weezer and then clipped it and it went back under the skin. Later on if you start spitting stitches you can usually just pull them out as the internal part has dissolved and it's not attached to anything inside. I had a few that were still attached & I just cut them down so they didn't bother me.

I'm so glad you asked this I thought people would have thought i was weird or crazy..lol Yes i have to loops/stich knots on the side of my waist the thread is blue just sitting there. I was wondering how it was going to absorb if its on the outside of my skin but yep will ask my PS on Tuesday, Glad I'm not the only one.

My name is Lisa... I am a stitch spitter! lol
I cannot count how many times I had the blood blister then the skin open up and then a stitch would come out! It'll all stop in time. Good luck!

Absolutely!  My doc told me I could pull them out if they were coming out but NOT to go digging for them, lol!!!!  I just get the tweezers and pull gently - they come right out!  I was also told this could go on for 6 months.  Sometimes I can feel one poking me and I'm tempting to dig, but I don't.  The nurse will dig them out if I go by the office.

I'm 10 weeks post tummy tuck and pulled one out last night.  I've had clear ones and purple/blue ones.  I'm sure there will be more.
