TT Advice pls

I am 5 mos out fr a tt with lipo of hips and flanks and have to say i am a little sad with the results thus far. The part that bothers me the most is the mons area. It still sticks out too much for my liking and some days appears puffier than others. I fell like i need to hide my pubic area and by doing so i am covering up my whole abdomen)-: I wear supportive underwear and sometimes my old binder but they only do so much.

I was also hoping my tummy would be a bit smaller. Dont get me wrong, its MUCH better but more would have been better lol.

Am i expecting too much here?? Did anyone have the same experiences? And did anyone out there get there mons revised later on? or their tummy for that matter?

I see the surgeon at the 6 mos mark but was looking for a little support/advice  fr this forum before i see him.

Thanks guys!

I'm sorry you're going through that.

I recently had a consult with my plastic surgeon and explicitly told him I wanted a flat mons. He said not everyone wants that or asks for it. I reassured him I want him to lipo it so it's consistent with my flat tummy.

Maybe your doc can lipo it? I hear that the mons does gather fluid since gravity takes extra fluid there. Best of luck with your upcoming doctor's visit. Hope he can fix it soon.

Did your surgeon do a mons lift with the TT? He/she should have... If you are not satisfied with the results I weould voice that to your surgeon.  There may be something they can do to fix the issue (in office).  My doctor treated me for scar revision with no charge for up to a year after my TT.

Good luck :)

I have heard that it can be difficult to get the desired result on the mons sometimes from a tummy tuck because it just doesn't have the same support or something as the tummy does to "lift" it.  That being said, my surgeon pretty much just chops off the puffy mons and I'm totally beyond satisfied with the way mine looks.  It does extend out a little bit from the tummy, but I think it just looks like a normal pubic mound to me.  You may benefit from a revision.  May I ask who you're "covering up" your mound from?  I don't wear anything that would make a pubic mound look prominent, and even pre-op my mons was huge and I'd still wear tight pants to the gym and stuff and no one could tell.

As far as the tummy, are you seeing a lot of loose skin that wasn't pulled tight enough?  There's really only so much they can do to make your actual body smaller.  If you have a lot of abdominal fat below the muscle, there really isn't much that can be done.

I dunno if your expectations are out of line without seeing before and afters.  Maybe try to see other before and afters and see how your results compare.

I was upset when I still had a small tummy roll that folds over any support garment I have, but my mom says even skinny little tennis players have tummy rolls when they sit down.

I had my TT last year on September and I am not happy with my  "privates", not at all.

It looks so bad, even my husbnad told me.It sticks out so much, I do not think my PS even touch it.
I will have revision of my lower tummy and mons area with seroma fix on Sept 1.
If you are not happy, please tell your PS.

Thank you

Alla
