Shower with drains???????
I had 7 drains and a full body binder (garment) I removed the binder the day after surgery and with the help of the nurse took a nice shower - washed my hair and felt wonderfully clean! I was told by the doctor as soon as I could stand up and walk without feeling faint it was okay to shower. He really sutures in the drains in securely and I didn't have any fears. One thing to remember is to not remove your binder while standing up. Remove it and then sit on the edge of the bed or chair to stabilize your BP.
