I was allowed to stop wearing them 24/7 when I went back to work at 4 weeks however found my arms swelled too much w/o them so continued to wear them til about 6 weeks. Didn't even care that they could be seen when wearing my work clothes. Went for what felt the best to me.

I have a bunch of tanks for work. I may have to just invest in some short sleeved shirts to wear the next few weeks.

I did tanks/drape cardigans this week...but that was a bit much.

I guess one layer is probably better. I'm going to head to wal-mart/target for cheaper shirts to get me through. I'm going to miss my tanks!

I'm stil early out. Will be three weeks out on Tuesday. So far, my scarring is great. I tape my scars to reduce pulling and to make them flat. So far they are very flat!

What are you taping them with? Do you go straight down the middle of your arm? Over your stitches? or are they dissolved already?

My surgeon doesn't recommend compression with an arm lift.  The only time my arms were covered was the first 24 hours after than the bandages were removed.  I had my lift almost two years ago and my scars are now just thin white lines.

I wore my bra/arm compression garment under my body garment for 3+months 24/7 except for showers.  Then I went to every other day or so.  Now, I'm wearing my body garment at night only to keep my tummy flat during the day.  I'm almost 7 mo out.  If I feel my arms are swelling, I'll wear the bra/arm garment overnight.
