breast lift settling ...how did it go?

I had my BL 3 days ago - at first my boobs were HIGH and WIDE!!!

Things seem to be settling in a bit.  The swelling is going down.  They are coming a bit closer together.  And now the nipples point forward instead of at the stars.  A little bit uneven, but not bad - and they were uneven before....

They are still much larger than I anticipated them being (based on what my dr. predicted).  Just wondering how much more swelling will go down...

How long did it take your BL to settle into it's final resting place?

I put a new pic (3 days out) on my profile if you're interested...

I had my breast lift last October.  It took about 3 months for all the swelling to go away.  I'm the same bra size I was before the surgery and very happy with the results.

Thank you!  I'm DREAMING of being the same size...but I think I will be a bit smaller.

3 months huh?

I'm day 21 today.  I had BL with implants.  At first mine were high and box like.  The nipples were flat and looked like stickers.  I noticed this week the nipples look better.  I also noticed that the breasts are now lower and not box like.  One looks bigger than the other.  He said that one was bigger before surgery. I hope they even out later. You can't tell though with clothes on.
I never thought in my life I would have breast surgery.  Maybe a reduction when I was younger but not all of this.
I'm glad I did everything I did.  I think I look 500% better!

I get what you mean about the nipples...mine looks weird to me as well. ;0)

Each day they seem a bit more "normal" looking as they shrink a bit...still seems weird that my  nipples point straight front!

I'm almost 7mo out and mine have dropped a bit and look more natural.  The nipples point out not down.  It did take about 3 mo for the swelling and for them to drop.  They look more natural now.   My left was bigger than the right and Dr Sauceda reduced it and they look the same now.  I'm extremely happy with mine.  I was showing them off all day yesterday with folks coming to see Dr Sauceda in NYC.

3 months!  I guess I'll keep my nice, big boobs for longer than I thought!  My husband will enjoy that!

I had my BL/BA in January.  I don't remember how long the swelling lasted, but my nipples are ok, and the right one still doesn't have any feeling, the left one always did.  My right breast still sits a little higher and is a little bigger.

I started wearing a sports bra to bed again after several months of not.  I found I was trying to support them while sleeping and ended up waking up a few times a night uncomfy.  It has solved that problem.  BF doesnt' seem to care either.  He just wants me comfy.

I did not have an augment, so I think mine will end up small enough to not need support!  They are a full C now...but gradually slimming down as the swelling recedes.

They have also turned a lovely shade of green/yellow today with bruising - that's cute! lol
