Good morning everyone.
Well, since my surgery has been bumped, I've got time on my hands.
Thining about my To Do list...
I have no recliner and a lift chair is 300 dollars to rent. (yikes)

I am thinking of maybe a wedge pillow for my post-op laying around period.

Anyone use one of these?
Did you like it?
Where did you get it?

I would love some input!

Thanks guys!!

I don't have a recliner, and couldn't afford to rent a chiar, or to buy a proper wedge pillow. I make do with one of those big pillows meant for you to sit up in bed with, augmented with regular pillows- perfectly comfy. I have seen the wedges at bed bath and beyond, for like $40 and up though.

I feel pretty darn good.. Pressure from the swelling, and itchy incisions, but pain free and able to do pretty much anything. I wish someone woulda warned me how boring recovery is! Lol..

Imo wedge pillow is a waste of money.  I do have a recliner which is where I stay but I long for my bed so lots of pillows that can be moved and tucked where needed is the best way to go.

Its way cheaper to pick up 4-6 pillows at WalMart then it is to buy a wedge pillow that is too small, doesn't conform and then is no use after a week or two.  Extra pillows can be stored for quest later or thrown away if they get drainage or blood on them.

I hope this helps.

I got a wedge pillow from Bed Bath and Beyond and it was $29, plus I used a coupon so it was 20% off that. I love it.

Funny...BB and B was my first thought.

Plus, I have that tempting little coupon at home next to my puter!

Thanks Laura.

I did the first 3 weeks and I thought it really helped.  I do suggest something unde your butt, too.  I almost got bed sores from being on my backside only for 3 weeks - i finally got a blow up donut pillow and that helped when sleeping.
