dr lost my pictures

I am so furious right now, I had my consult July 18th and scheduled for Sept 14 to have LBL. Dr's office called today and they lost my pictures that they were sending to my insurance company for approval. Going to the consult was a very painful experience because of my sexual abuse as a child. I cried the whole time he was taking pictures standing there naked in front of a stranger. I was so relieved when it was over with and now I gotta go back and do it all over again. Also, the day of the consult I had one of my yeast infections under the panni and he said the insurances like having pictures of the rashes. I don't have one right now...ugh.

Aweeee Pam that is AWFUL! I am so SO sorry you had to go threw that and now again. I can't imagine what that must be like for you. I went on a lot of consults before deciding on my plastic surgeon some made me completely comfortable others not so much. When I finally decided on Dr. Cullen he put me completely at ease but it was still alittle uncomfortable having my pictures taken as well and I was not sexual abused. I'll send prayers your way! Try and stay strong the surgery is so worth the experience and results you'll have. Is there a spouse, friend, or family member that could go with that you feel brings you comfort so you don't have to do this alone? Maybe if your ok with explaining how hard those pictures were to their office they could call you in a Valium and someone could drive you. It would help you relax for the apt. Lots of thoughts your way, hope this can get done with quickly and you can put it behind you. You don't deserve anymore pain from your past. Best of luck hon~

Bless your heart, Pam...I'm sorry you have had this happen to you...I know how upsetting this is for you..I would be angry, as well...It's hard enough to stand naked in front of someone, anyway, as they snap, snap, snap...but having your past issues, I'm sure, has been over the top in your emotions..
