OMG I just saw myself naked since surgery
OH WOW OMG, I was impatient and took a shower this AM without hubby's help (he is at work) and my tape came loose and my binder got wet. So I had to change my binder to a dry one.
I stood in front of bathroom mirror and was overwhelmed with tears. I have very slight dog ears if any, yes I have saggy thighs and some saggy other stuff but HOLY CRAP that big huge ugly pannis I have been carrying around for 22 years is gone and I do mean gone. My female parts look normal and nondistorted. My scars will not be bad at all. I just know I will look good in cloths for once.
From the side I am just amazed. I never looked thin before even when I was thin. I am just overwhelmed with emotion right now. Maybe someday I will have my thighs done and my boobs lifted some but for right now I am happy as can be. Wish the healing process was faster. I am so ready to wear jeans. Heck I might even try low cut jeans lol.
Sorry guys I just had to share that WOW moment. My surgeon turned my panniculectomy into a makeshift TT for me and he did me right. He told me I will be happy even though it is not perfect.

LoL Amy, I am always lying slightly elevated getting the binder and drsg changed by my PS so all I can see from that angle is swelling and roundness but this time I stood up and looked in the mirror and I was shocked and I like it.
I lost my belly button and to be honest with ya I didn't really even care it was gone lol.

How wonderful for you. I know I'm still amazed at my flat tummy, normal mons and perky bewbies. I'm almost 7 mo out and it's still new.
