8 days post TT, pics up!

I was FINALLY able to take a shower today and take off the garment! I am to wear the garment for three more weeks, but I switched to a flexsees one I already owned- the one they put on me in the hospital was TORTURE! I drove an hour each way today to take my kids to camp.. went to the mall.. shopping at target.. out w hubby to get a haircut.. and out to dinner. I am not even really tired now, but do get more swollen by the end of the day. My Dr told me Monday that I didn't look a week out- I looked 2 months out, lol.. so I am healing well!

I think I look SO swollen- I feel like I have almost a baby bump, but am still happy so far- I cannot wait to see when the swelling goes down! My pics have a password, it is: TT072511

Thank you! I lucked out- being a military hospital, I had to go on faith.. no patient testimonials or before/after pics.. just faith in my nurse who told me he was awesome. I am glad I went through with it for sure- although I hate restrictions! Ha ha- I wanna unpack my new apartment already!

Please be careful. I was 4 weeks out and my incisions all looked healed when I ripped a hole in it. Once you get a hole, they cannot do anything for it. You have to just let it heal as is. That part of my scar will NOT be pretty.
