I am three weeks post TT, muscle tightening, lipo with BA and lipo of "side boobs" Anyone out there get sharp almost stabbing pains that come and go in their incision spots? Its mostly up in the incision from my BA (had lift done three months prior). They come out of no where and just stab sharply for a second than go, than come back. Is this weird or are you guys feeling them too?

yep, those are common. Believe it's usually the nerves rejenerating. Can last for quite some time until they are completely healed.

oh yeah totally common and totally debilitating for that second.  It is the nerves regerating. The way my neurologist explained it to me is that the easiest signal for nerves to send and receive is pain, so those sharp pains are the nerves in that area figuring out that they  can "talk " to their neighbors again.    once the nerves get that ability back then they will calm down and start endingother nessages.  you will also start to get feeling back in that area of your skin now, if you haven't already started.

Yep. I've been getting them, too. When I get them, I immediately feel that spot to make sure my incision hasn't ripped open (becausse that's what it feels like is happening when I get them).

Thanks everyone for taking a time to comment on my question. I am glad to hear I'm not going crazy and that others out there know what I'm talking about! My husband just keeps looking at me like I'm nuts! Now I can back it up! LOL thanks everyone!

Not to much with other surgeries but I had the quick sharp pains you're describing for three months with my arm lift.
