drainage tube blues

It's been about 5 weeks since by tummy tuck. I've noticed that I have indentations in my public area from the drainage tubes. They look like large dimples. Has anyone experienced this? Will this area return to normal? My drainage tubes under my breast healed quickly leaving no indentations. 

I'm 4.5 weeks out and have no dents from my drainage tubes.

Good for you. It's odd to look down and see my pubic mound smiling at me. lol

yep, had dents for a bit but they do go away as things heal. I'm  2 years out from my LBL and can't see the drain holes in the pubic area. I do have 2 little scars on each hip from the drains there but no dents.

Thanks. I have some hope then. Dimples on cheeks = cute. Dimples on pubic mound= too much. Reminds me of the banana in the pants... happy to see me joke.  lol

My "holes" from drainage tube in mons really bothered me.  I have bright red scars there but no dimples.

Thanks Penny. Hopefully, my condition will improve over time. I'll see the doctor tomorrow. Hopefully he'll have some encouraging news.

I am not sure what mine looks like yet.  I am one week post-op but I can tell ya that the itching is driving me crazy.  Other than that I have never had a flat hootie in for the past past 22 years since my son was born.  I herniated over my pubic bone but I quess thats not an issue that anyone wanted to take care of for me and it got worse after birth of daughter and wt loss/wt gain/wt loss. 

I just can't believe I can see my privates and no more skin to lift to clean under.  Surgeon said yesterday he removed 14+ pounds of skin whooooooooohoooooo.  I am still in shock.
